Drink Recipes For Rum

Superb drink recipes for rum are collected in The Island Remembered, which shares not only the drink recipes themselves, but also sources for some of the more arcane ingredients.

Original recipes included are the Scorpion, the Lyford Cay Rum Dum, and the infamous Coco Conga. Described as a concoction that has the taste of the Islands and the effect of a coconut landing on the head, the Coco Conga is one of the best drink recipes for rum ever devised. The recipe is found in The Island Remembered, along with the drink's history and the humorous tale of the quest to discover the recipe.

The other drink recipes for rum are no less storied. The Bahamian Planter's Punch is a Bahamian family original recipe, in print for the first time. Also look for a classic Pia Colada recipe and two Lyford Cay Club proprietary rum drink recipes, the Rum Dum and the Grand Slam. The book mixes these recipes in with tasty island fare and the history of Spanish Cay, an experience sure to inspire you to prepare your own great food and good times.
